The design of this jacket is so cool. Pleated back, so the sizing on the bust and hip is somewhat flexible. Button belt in back, giant pockets, cuffed sleeves. Super sharp! Pair it with a black or pop color skirt or trousers and a chic scarf.
Bust up to 42"
Waist 28" snug
Hip up to 40"
Good vintage condition. There's a bit of underarm discoloration, as the jacket is not lined. Several moth nibbles throughout, maybe 6-7 on the front and 3-4 on the back, but they aren't super noticeable because the check is so small. It does need a cleaning, as I suspect the white could be brighter. Priced accordingly.
Georgia Bullock / Milliken. Bullock was a California designer, from Whittier, a town near Los Angeles. She worked as a floor model for Bullocks Wilshire (no relation), and then as a milliner before pursuing a clothing design career. She achieved success and national acclaim at an early age, and was best known for sophisticated looks like this one. I'd place this jacket in the late 1940s to mid-1950s.
